We welcome you to the New ShotgunSports.com website. We have updated the Site, the Forums and the Classifieds to make ShotgunSports.com easier to use with more information and functionality at your fingertips.

As we build out the new site, we have made the Classifieds and Forums available to for you get used to. We will be expanding the site to include all things shotgun; Shotgun Sporting to include Clay Shooting, Skeet, Trap and Double Trap; Shotgun Hunting to include Wing Shooting, Game Shooting and Waterfowl. We will have listings for shotgun events, shoots and clubs and welcome ideas on further expanding the site to the needs of the users.

THE NEW CLASSIFIEDS

In the new Classifieds we have waived all fees, for all listings, for the first few months. This way all of you can get acclimated with the new application, sell what want to sell or even post your wants under the Wanted category. We will tweak it as we go, popular categories will continue and unpopular ones will go. In the new Classifieds if you do not find an item that you are looking for you can setup an Ad Agent to monitor new Ads that are posted or check to see if an ad is modified to meet your search criteria. And with the Hot List feature you can keep track of all the ads that you are interested in.

THE NEW FORUMS

We always welcome your suggestions and the new Forums allow you to make suggestions on how we can improve and we will take even the smallest suggestions into consideration. In the new Forums, you are in control. Topics can be viewed in the popular linear fashion, or in the old style threaded method. Users can also view messages one by one or branch by branch from the threading method. Users can engage in personal conversations between one another using the Private Messaging, and save the history of those conversations. These conversations can be controlled by the user, allowing you to ban other users from communication or disable the feature all together. Keep track of people you interact with in the forum by forming your own buddy list. The buddy list is handy for sending friends a quick message, and knowing when they are online. And sometimes expressing emotion in text communication can be difficult; we have included several graphical emoticons to make text-based communication easier.
